There've been quite a few updates to the Narconon Exposed (http://www.narconon-exposed.org) website over the past couple of weeks. Here's the list - see http://www.narconon-exposed.org/sources/additions.htm for the hyperlinked version.
- Critical reports on Narconon from the Michigan and Palo Alto, CA governments, both of which funded (and then terminated) Narconon programmes in the 1970s and 1980s.
- Narconon & Scientology Source Documents: updates for all of the pages in this section, with commentaries on each of the documents. Four new items are also available:
- An extract from the Guardian's Office codebook for the "FLEECE" cypher, showing the codenames used for Narconon.
- A GO document on "Enemy Files" declaring "rival drug rehab groups" to be "enemies" targeted for "neutralisation".
- Narconon Technical Line-Up: an internal Narconon document dating from 1984 which shows Narconon routing clients to the "nearest [Scientology] org".
- ABLE WINS, issue 1: an extract from the first issue of the newsletter of the Association for Better Living and Education, publicising the Guardian Office Social Coordination Section's conversion into ABLE.
- A critical analysis of the Purification Rundown's medical deficiencies from David Hogg M.D. of Toronto, Canada.
- A summary of key facts about Narconon.
- Over 100 new items have been added to the media archive, which has grown so big that it has had to be split into three sections.
- There is also a new essay on Narconon and its critics and a "smoking gun" memo from L. Ron Hubbard demonstrating his Church's operational control over Narconon - a fact which has always been denied by the organisation.
- A review of the Narconon detoxification picture book is also now available, exposing the junk science behind Narconon's New Life Detoxification Program.
